The role of the Lot Attendant at Washman plays a pivotal part in the smooth functioning of daily car wash operations. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the car wash property while assisting in guiding vehicles through the wash tunnel. The Lot Attendant is responsible for keeping customer areas, vacuum stations, and parking zones orderly and free from debris. Working outdoors in an often fast-paced setting, the attendant must be comfortable around moving vehicles and able to engage politely and professionally with customers to enhance their experience.

Key responsibilities include assisting with vehicle processing through the wash tunnel, ensuring vehicles are properly aligned on the conveyor, and maintaining awareness of safety protocols to prevent accidents. At the tunnel exit, attendants dry vehicles using approved techniques to ensure a superior final presentation before the car is returned to the customer. They also provide support to Full Service and Express Detail teams by helping with interior cleaning tasks and stocking supplies.

Physical stamina is a core requirement as the role involves standing and walking for extended hours, bending, stooping, lifting weights between 25 and 40 pounds, and working in all weather conditions. The work environment is dynamic and sometimes humid or wet due to the nature of car wash operations.
