Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to work hours varying according to event schedule
- able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- willing to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- must work in a team environment
- strong communication skills
- high level of attention to detail and organization
Job Qualifications
- 5 years cooking and food preparation experience in the food service industry
- experience in premium services, catering, or concessions in sports and entertainment venues or high-volume restaurants or hotels
- effective communication skills with co-workers and management
- strong commitment to customer service
- ability to interact with all levels of management
- flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- team-oriented
- high attention to detail and organization
Job Duties
- maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- execute station requirements according to Executive Culinary Team specifications
- follow recipes to desired specifications
- support culinary management with recipe and new food development
- apply advanced knife skills and butchery techniques
- prepare classic sauces, soups, and stocks independently
- produce cold food items including salads, dressings, and sandwiches
- prepare hot food items such as smoking, roasting, grilling, and braising of proteins
- work at all kitchen stations efficiently
- assist new employees in understanding culinary operations
- implement production sheets and event orders
- lead kitchen or service in the absence of management
- expedite a la carte service or events
- support monthly inventory processes
- help implement HAACP plans
- collaborate with executive culinary team on ordering and daily operations
- maintain health and sanitation standards
- multitask in a fast-paced environment
- maintain positive guest relations
- ensure quality food products
- ensure equipment is operational and regularly cleaned
- rotate to different service locations as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
