Job Description

The hiring establishment is a production facility known for its dynamic and active work environment. This company operates with a focus on efficiency, safety, and team collaboration aimed at maintaining high standards within their operational processes. As a workplace, it emphasizes the importance of clear communication and organization to ensure that all departments function smoothly and that quality control is consistently upheld. The company is committed to fostering a supportive atmosphere where employees are encouraged to grow their skills, take initiative, and contribute effectively to the team’s goals.

This full-time position reports directly to the Long Bar Manager and includes supervisory responsibilities over the long bar employees. The role requires active participation in the day-to-day activities of the long bar department, combining leadership, administrative, and physical tasks. The appointed candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff performance, ensuring compliance with safety and attendance policies, and recommending corrective actions when necessary. In addition to supervision, this position involves analytical work such as conducting inventories, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing work orders and tooling materials.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. The successful applicant must demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to detail. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to explain procedures clearly and to document activities effectively. The role also necessitates the capacity to handle confidential information discreetly. From a physical standpoint, the job demands active movement throughout the production facility, including walking over uneven surfaces and the ability to lift boxes and bend or stand as required.

This position operates on a fixed schedule from Monday through Friday, starting early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. Flexibility for evening and weekend work may be required depending on workload demands. Preferred candidates will have at least two years of experience in a shift lead or supervisory capacity, bringing proven leadership skills and familiarity with production or similar operational environments.

Overall, the role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in an organized, detail-oriented, and physically engaging setting while taking pride in contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. The employee will play a critical role in promoting team cohesion, maintaining high operational standards, and supporting the continuous improvement of the long bar department.
