Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Experience in managing third-party logistics providers
  • Understanding of international shipping and banking documents
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve operational challenges efficiently
  • Proficiency with logistics software and data analysis tools

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics management or supply chain operations
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and contract negotiations
  • Familiarity with international shipping procedures and banking documents
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Job Duties

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies
  • Manage third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to meet service level agreements
  • Proactively address and resolve operational disruptions, delays, or challenges
  • Handle freight exceptions management including delays, carrier mistakes, and cancellations
  • Execute ocean freight booking including quotation and lead time management
  • Investigate and resolve complaints linked to logistics and claims
  • Prepare, manage, and track cost analysis and cost savings initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, inventory management, customer service, and sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners including carriers, customs brokers, and suppliers
  • Act as the primary logistics contact for regional stakeholders ensuring alignment on goals and initiatives
  • Support and act as Americas Logistics Manager back-up
  • Optimize distribution networks, transportation routes, and warehouse operations to minimize costs and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement
