Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Knowledge of freight and customs brokerage processes
- Capability to manage shipment tracking and inventory control effectively
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics coordination especially within materials or commodity industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and data management
- Understanding of import/export regulations
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including traders, suppliers, and customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience working in fast-paced logistics or supply chain environments
Job Duties
- Collaborate daily with traders and other team members to support logistics operations
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of assigned customers and suppliers from contract entry to delivery
- Input contracts into the system after bookings are made by traders
- Arrange material pickup from warehouses and coordinate deliveries to customers
- Manage import processes by working closely with freight brokers and customs brokers
- Monitor shipments and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets to track and manage logistics data effectively
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to address any issues or delays
- Ensure compliance with regulations and documentation requirements for shipments
