Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, construction, planning or related fields
- Minimum of two years' experience at level within a similar role
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Proven team management skills with effective communication across functions
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems
- Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, training, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing
- Proven leadership and management capability
- Conduct business in a professional manner, keeping the client and projects at the forefront of every day's priority
- Work with team members to actively contribute to the group to complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects
- Work as a team player, actively listening to coworkers, respect ideas and aim to improve the product or process at hand
- Excellent planning and organizational skills as well as time management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical and logical thinking required
- May assume other duties as required/needed
Job Qualifications
- US employment authorization without needing sponsorship
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A valid driver's license and compliance with PACIFIC's Vehicle Policy, if a vehicle is needed
- Proficiency with common Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat (PDF files)
- 5-10 years of experience in an airport operational setting for Level II
- 5 years of experience in an airport operational setting for Level I
- Experience in change management and optimization of project management processes
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems
- Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing
- Proven leadership and management capability
Job Duties
- Manage and coordinate the move and mobilization activities in collaboration with all team members, stakeholders and relevant agencies
- Manage space logistics and change initiatives, which include driving process improvements across LAWA projects and stakeholders
- Develop move and mobilization plans for major LAWA CIP projects
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication
- Manage stakeholder communications and collaboration
- Participate in and support planning of the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Program
- Review the design documents and specifications of facilities and systems and assess operational requirements for select CIP projects
- Assist in the collection, review and modification of standard operating procedures
- Assist in developing orientation and familiarization training courses that cover generic facility spaces, functions and systems and individual stakeholder requirements
- Assist in developing trial scripts and ensure alignment of these by applicable system or function
- Coordinate operational readiness activities with applicable stakeholders
- Work closely with the AOR Subject Matter Experts on the execution of operational readiness assignments
- Submit weekly activity efforts and status reports to the AOR Manager
