Job Description

Kelly Services is a renowned global workforce solutions provider that connects talented individuals with opportunities across a multitude of industries. As one of the largest and most trusted staffing companies, Kelly Services has built a reputation for delivering flexible and innovative staffing solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of their clients. Their extensive network spans numerous sectors, enabling them to provide access to a diverse array of positions, from temporary roles to full-time careers. At the core of their mission is the commitment to helping job seekers find employment that aligns with their lifestyle and career goals, while also supporting businesses in building strong, capable teams.

The Logistics Documentation Coordinator role at Kelly Services offers a compelling opportunity to join one of the largest supply chain organizations and contribute directly to the seamless management of logistics and compliance operations. This position is an onsite role, with shift hours from 8 am to 4 pm, and offers the potential to convert to a full-time employee, providing a path for career growth within the company. The role demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage the administrative and operational aspects of logistics documentation, ensuring all processes adhere to compliance standards and support efficient supply chain operations.

In this position, the Logistics Documentation Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support related to logistics, trade compliance, and site operations. This includes maintaining organized physical and digital filing systems for operational and compliance documents, managing the flow of critical shipment documents to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and timely distribution. The role also involves reviewing import and export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOLs), Certificates of Origin (COO), and Automated Export System/Electronic Export Information (AES/EEI) to verify compliance with regulatory requirements.

Beyond document management, the coordinator will archive and maintain records to prepare for audits, inspections, and internal reviews, assist with shipping, receiving, inventory documentation, and cycle count records, and liaise with warehouse staff, freight forwarders, and carriers to align shipment documentation. Tracking shipments and communicating status updates to internal teams are also key parts of the role. Additional responsibilities include supporting onboarding documentation for vendors, visitors, and contractors, and providing administrative assistance during audits and compliance reviews.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential to efficiently prepare reports, logs, and tracking tools vital for the role. This comprehensive engagement in logistics documentation management requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced supply chain environment. Candidates eager to develop their compliance and logistics expertise will find this role rewarding and instrumental in advancing their careers in supply chain management.

Joining Kelly Services as a Logistics Documentation Coordinator means becoming part of a professional network that values growth, accuracy, and commitment. The company supports career development and provides ongoing opportunities for its employees to build meaningful careers. Prospective candidates can look forward to not just a job, but a pathway to discovering what is next in their career, backed by the strong support of a leader in staffing solutions.
