Job Requirements
- background check
- drug screen when applicable
- compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process when applicable
- valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record when applicable
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
- willingness to work on-call assignments after hours and weekends
- physical ability to sit, walk, stand, and drive for extended periods
- compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection and N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy including medical evaluation, fit testing compliance, and maintaining a clean-shaven face to ensure mask seal
- ability to handle potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- ability to follow loading, unloading, and cargo tie down procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- experience with medical equipment preferred
- one year of related work experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- effective communication skills in English both oral and written
- ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- self-motivated with good organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- skilled in internet navigation and email communication
- mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
- understanding of respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
- educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- perform other duties as assigned
