Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
Background investigation
Drug screen when applicable for the position
Ability to lift minimum of 65 pounds and transport patient equipment
Ability to sit, walk, stand, talk, and listen throughout the workday
Ability to read small print on computer, tablet, and paperwork
Compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection and N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy including medical evaluation, fit testing, annual recertification, and maintaining a clean-shaven face for mask seal
Ability to safely drive company vehicle for the majority of the workday
Ability to manage contact with patients and equipment with possible exposure to contagious pathogens

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience with medical equipment, preferred
One year of related work experience, preferred
Medical terminology, preferred
Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
Effective communication skills in English both oral and written
Ability to interpret a variety of communications including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated, organized, and good time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficiency with email communication, internet navigation, and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to operate office equipment including fax machines, copiers, printers, phones, computers, and tablets
Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and troubleshooting
Knowledge of loading, unloading, and proper tie-down procedures for transported cargo
Understanding of applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies

Job Duties

Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
