Job Description

CBL Properties is one of the largest mall Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in the United States, known for managing a diverse portfolio of retail real estate properties including regional malls and shopping centers. CBL Properties has earned a reputation as a great workplace, consistently receiving the Great Place to Work Certification year after year. The company's commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment makes it a desirable employer within the retail real estate industry. Located in Waco, Texas, Richland Mall is a key property under CBL's portfolio, hosting a variety of specialty retailers and providing community-centric shopping experiences. CBL seeks to expand its team at Richland Mall by hiring a Local Leasing and Advertising Coordinator (LLAC) to support its leasing and advertising functions.

The Local Leasing and Advertising Coordinator role at Richland Mall is designed to optimize operational efficiency by relieving lease dealmakers of administrative tasks, thus enabling them to focus more on revenue-generating activities. The LLAC works under the direction of the Specialty Leasing and Advertising Coach and collaborates closely with multiple departments including Specialty Leasing and Advertising, Marketing, and Mall Management. This position is vital in maintaining seamless communication across teams and ensuring that leasing and advertising initiatives are executed effectively to meet property goals throughout the year.

In this role, the coordinator assists with various duties ranging from tenant move-ins and move-outs, signage approval, new tenant orientations, and adherence to property standards. The LLAC monitors and enforces common area visuals, manages back-lit directory programs, helps coordinate holiday décor, and supports event planning and execution. The role also involves significant coordination with tenants, property teams, and external vendors to maintain and promote the property’s retail environment.

Additionally, the Local Leasing and Advertising Coordinator processes lease-related paperwork, facilitates communication with prospective and existing tenants, maintains tenant records, and compiles important operational reports. The position demands a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while adapting to flexible working hours.

This position also offers opportunities to support revenue generation efforts, including lead generation, lead qualification, managing specialty leasing storage programs, and assisting with special events like job fairs and holiday markets. CBL Properties values a team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and computer proficiency, offering a dynamic work environment where professional growth is encouraged. The company supports individuals with reasonable accommodations to promote an inclusive workplace. This role is essential to sustaining the high standards and ongoing success of Richland Mall and enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction alike.
