  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • must be 18 years or older
  • must live in or near the event area
  • prior experience in event support, customer service, or team coordination preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • basic problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • complete availability on event weekends
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn with a team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • assist with setup, execution, and teardown of event activities including lantern distribution, guest check-in, and site preparation
  • help manage and direct local staff and volunteers ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • provide friendly, professional assistance to attendees answering questions and resolving minor issues to enhance their experience
  • support the Event Coordinator with inventory checks, equipment handling, and other operational needs
  • work closely with the core team to maintain a positive, organized environment and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly
  • engage in training sessions to learn event management skills with the potential to advance to the Event Coordinator role
