The Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) position located in Syracuse, NY, offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced commercial drivers committed to safety and excellent customer service. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Class B or better CDL
- Must have HAZMAT endorsement
- Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
- Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT clearinghouse verification from previous employers
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs and occasionally lift over 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies

Job Duties
- Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures
- Handle the loading and unloading of all materials
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full safety compliance and maintain vehicle condition
- Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a company representative during deliveries
