Job Description

PepsiCo is a global leader in the food and beverage industry, renowned for its diverse portfolio of iconic brands and commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. With a rich history of delivering refreshing beverages and convenient snack solutions across the world, PepsiCo continues to expand its reach through a dynamic network of dedicated professionals and partners. As a multinational corporation, PepsiCo values diversity, inclusion, and community engagement, fostering a workplace environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and excellence.

This opportunity is for a full-time Driver position at PepsiCo, compensated at a competitive rate of $29.45 per hour during day shifts. The role primarily involves delivering products to a wide variety of customers, including those in the foodservice industry. Responsibilities encompass driving delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to store locations, managing the receipt and stocking of products, merchandising according to local standards, and maintaining effective communication with store personnel. This position demands physical endurance as it includes lifting cases that weigh between 20 to 45 pounds repeatedly, pushing and pulling heavy loads ranging from 40 to 150 pounds, as well as frequent bending, squatting, and reaching during the delivery and shelf-stocking process.

In addition to fulfilling delivery duties, the Driver is responsible for operational tasks such as unloading pallets using electronic pallet jacks or hand trucks, building small displays, setting up promotional signage, rotating stock to ensure freshness, and generating invoices with a daily settlement of cash and charges. The role requires strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards, including passing Department of Transportation (DOT) drug tests and physicals, and possessing a valid U.S. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with non-excepted interstate status when applicable.

The position offers an engaging working environment that combines driving skills with merchandising expertise, enabling the individual to contribute directly to the availability and presentation of PepsiCo products in retail environments. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a blend of physical activity, customer interaction, and responsibility for maintaining high standards of product delivery and store service. PepsiCo supports its employees with comprehensive policies and practices that promote safety, fairness, and equal opportunity, ensuring that all qualified individuals receive consideration regardless of background or status.

Working at PepsiCo as a Driver means becoming part of a global team that values integrity, passion, and innovation. The company emphasizes compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including offering accommodations and employment opportunities in alignment with fair chance hiring policies and non-discrimination laws. This commitment reinforces PepsiCo's reputation as an employer of choice in the transportation and logistics sector within the food and beverage industry.
