Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Experience in cardiology nursing or cardiac cath lab
- Availability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
- Must be able to start by August 12, 2025
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract
- Local to Detroit, Michigan or willing to commute
- Compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Cardiovascular nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Previous travel nursing experience a plus
Job Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Monitor and assist during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment functioning
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on cardiac care and procedures
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Follow all hospital and regulatory standards
