Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD specializes in customized distribution solutions for selected food service industry customers across the United States. With over 37,000 deliveries made weekly from 25 strategically located distribution centers, QCD operates a robust fleet covering more than 40 million miles annually, playing a vital role in ensuring that thousands of restaurants remain well-stocked and operational. QCD also supports community initiatives through its involvement with the national non-profit organization, the GSF Foundation. As a company deeply committed to operational excellence and community impact, QCD fosters a people-first culture based on values such as respect, integrity, and a dedication to doing the right thing. They prioritize creating an inclusive workplace that encourages collaboration, innovation, and mutual success among employees.
This job opening is for Class A Delivery Drivers at QCD's Capitol Heights, Maryland location. This role offers a stable, career-building opportunity with competitive pay averaging between $80,000 and $85,000 annually, with an hourly wage starting at $31.37. The position works an afternoon dispatch shift with a local route schedule that brings drivers home daily, eliminating the need for layovers. This role offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage starting just 30 days after employment, along with paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, company-provided uniforms, and work shoes. QCD is committed to career development, providing clear advancement pathways from entry-level roles to leadership through training and development programs. The company’s values-driven culture celebrates team success, continuous learning, and community engagement, making it an ideal workplace for those who are committed, dependable, and eager to grow within the food distribution industry.
