Job Description

KAG Energy, a division of Kenan Advantage Group, stands as a prominent leader in the energy transportation industry, renowned for its commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent service. As part of the larger Kenan Advantage Group family, KAG Energy specializes in the transportation of energy products across local and regional routes. The company prioritizes employing highly skilled drivers and provides exceptional support through its robust infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment, and a team-oriented environment. With an emphasis on flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits, KAG Energy creates an attractive workplace for professional drivers dedicated to excellence and safety.

Currently, KAG Energy is actively hiring Local Truck Drivers with a CDL-A license. This role is designed to cater to drivers seeking consistent home time while earning competitive wages ranging from approximately $65,728 to $100,235 yearly. Local drivers can expect to average between $1,600 and $2,100 per week, making this an exceptional opportunity for experienced professionals in the trucking industry. Drivers benefit from a flexible rotating schedule—working five days on with two or three days off—which supports a work-life balance. Beyond competitive compensation, KAG Energy offers an array of benefits including paid holidays, a driver referral program, and a comprehensive health insurance package that covers medical, dental, and vision care.

As a Local Truck Driver at KAG Energy, you will be part of a safety-first culture that emphasizes thorough training and incentives for safe driving behavior. Paid training focuses on product handling specific to tank and hazardous materials transportation, underscoring the company’s dedication to safety and compliance. This role requires holding the necessary endorsements such as Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, making it ideal for those specialized in energy product transportation.

The supportive terminal managers provide an environment where drivers feel valued, and the modern fleet ensures safe and reliable equipment at your disposal. KAG Energy also offers a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and encourages long-term career growth within the company. Candidates looking for a secure, rewarding career as a local driver will find KAG Energy an excellent choice that respects your skills and work-life needs.
