Job Requirements

  • valid Class A CDL with airbrake endorsements
  • maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card and endorsements
  • no more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years or no more than one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident in the last three years
  • no driving while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last seven years
  • must be able to work in a drug-free environment
  • able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with material handling equipment
  • one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or certificate from trucking school completed in the last 12 months

Job Qualifications

  • forklift experience preferred

Job Duties

  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
  • maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
  • make deliveries in a timely manner
  • safely strap equipment
  • use a forklift while on Airgas property
  • frequently exit the vehicle during deliveries
