Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Minimum of five years of commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Ability to strap own load
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, flat-beds, and lugger trucks
- Load and secure scrap metal materials ensuring proper weight distribution and safe transportation
- Plan and follow designated delivery routes considering traffic conditions and road closures
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
- Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery logs and bills of lading
- Maintain professional and courteous customer interactions during pickups and deliveries
- Handle materials in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with regulations
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch and operations teams
