The position open at Valley Recycling is for a Class A CDL Driver, a crucial role ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of scrap metal materials.   • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Job Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, flat-beds, and lugger trucks
  • Load and secure scrap metal materials ensuring proper weight distribution and safe transportation
  • Plan and follow designated delivery routes considering traffic conditions and road closures
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting issues promptly
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery logs and bills of lading
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer interactions during pickups and deliveries
  • Handle materials in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with regulations
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatch and operations teams
