This role is pivotal in driving sales growth by expanding existing business relationships and actively seeking new opportunities through targeted lead generation and marketing initiatives. The Sales Manager will work closely with various departments and leadership to ensure that sales goals are met while maintaining exceptional service standards. Responsibilities include designing and implementing comprehensive outbound sales strategies within specific regions where CRISP & GREEN operates, soliciting new catering clients through diverse sales techniques, and increasing revenue by establishing and nurturing new accounts alongside repeat business. Additionally, the role involves client relationship management, sales activity analysis, and collaboration with General Managers to ensure seamless execution of catering orders.
Key to success in this role is a proactive and entrepreneurial approach combined with strong organizational and communication skills. The Local Catering Sales Manager will regularly provide detailed sales reports, analyze market trends, and participate in strategic planning with the Catering Director to achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Job Requirements
- Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university preferred
- At least 2 years catering sales experience
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of market trends and competition
- Experience in fine dining or catering services
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Previous experience in business-to-business and business-to-customer restaurant off-premise sales or hospitality industries
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Design and spearhead outbound sales strategies to achieve growth targets in specific regions across the country where CRISP & GREEN is located
- Solicit new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques
- Generate revenue by establishing new accounts and booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high
- Perform all phases of sales activities for the service area, including cold calls, follow-up calls, analysis of client needs, presentations of services, service existing customer accounts, and follow-up, as necessary
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales metrics, strategies, and forecasts
- Manage business relationships to drive strategic growth objectives
- Develop relationships with General Managers to help execute Catering orders in-store
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
- Report to and work closely with Catering Director to understand KPIs and create short and long term strategic plans to hit expectations
- Be willing to step in to perform all duties required to produce a successful catering order execution, which may include setup, delivery, outreach, and training of restaurant teams
