Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings evenings nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role
- Customer service orientation
- Reliable transportation to the workplace is recommended but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings evenings nights weekends and holidays
- Previous experience of at least 1 year in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly desired
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving cleaning and maintenance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to demonstrating Hilton core values such as hospitality integrity leadership teamwork ownership and urgency
Job Duties
- Clean designated areas including but not limited to restrooms public areas hallways stairwells elevators offices and banquet meeting conference rooms
- Perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming mopping sweeping shampooing carpets washing windows emptying carts of soiled linens cleaning waxing floors removing and disposing of trash insects and debris and emptying ashtrays
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping furniture moves as needed
- Assist in delivering guest requests and in cleaning guest rooms as needed
