Job Description

Westchester Premier is a renowned banquet facility and beach club located in New Rochelle, NY, known for hosting a variety of events ranging from weddings and corporate gatherings to social celebrations. This establishment prides itself on delivering an exceptional guest experience, combining scenic views, elegant ambiance, and professional service. Westchester Premier offers a vibrant environment that blends the charm of a beach club with the sophistication required for high-quality banquet services. Guests can enjoy meticulously planned events supported by a dedicated team focused on hospitality excellence and customer satisfaction. The company values a professional yet welcoming atmosphere that fosters both guest enjoyment and staff collaboration.

The position of Lobby Hostess at Westchester Premier is a pivotal role dedicated to enhancing the guest experience from the moment visitors arrive. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and smooth flow of patrons within the facility's lobby area and supporting the broader operations of the restaurant and event spaces. Working closely with the front-of-house management, the Lobby Hostess ensures guests receive accurate information and assistance, contributing substantially to the venue's reputation for superior customer service.

As a Lobby Hostess, your responsibilities will include greeting guests promptly, managing waiting lists and seating arrangements, and maintaining the front-of-house environment including coat check services when necessary. This position demands a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work flexible hours, including at least one weekday night and weekend shifts during afternoons and evenings. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with guests through small talk, displaying a positive demeanor and teamwork-oriented attitude, essential for complementing the fast-paced hospitality environment.

Westchester Premier requires candidates to have at least one year of customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a commitment to arriving on time and presenting themselves in proper uniform. The job also entails physical stamina, as hosts will spend extended periods on their feet. Candidates with gaps in their employment history or those recently returning to the workforce will find this role accommodating and supportive. The hourly pay ranges from $17 to $19, with potential overtime opportunities and benefits including a 401(k) plan, employee discounts, and a flexible schedule. The position is perfect for individuals seeking consistent part-time work with varied shifts, offering a welcoming and supportive team environment at a premier event and beach club venue.
