The role of Lobby Attendant at Highgate Hotels is a key position dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in lobby areas and other public spaces within their hotels. This hourly position requires a professional with attention to detail, courtesy, and a strong service orientation to ensure guest satisfaction. The Lobby Attendant's responsibilities are varied and include maintaining cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and restrooms, handling lost and found items, reporting maintenance issues, helping with linen delivery, and supporting other housekeeping duties when necessary. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to listen, understand and clarify guest and employee concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental responsibilities
- Attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented approach
- Ability to attend all required meetings and training
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Compliance with hotel standards and regulations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state (property specific)
Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette for communication
- Practice safe work habits
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
- Turn in all keys and assignment sheets at end of shift
- Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Assist with guestroom cleaning procedures if needed
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections
- Pick up dirty linen or trash as required
- Collect and dispose of trash from service landings
- Vacuum guest corridors
- Keep hallways, public areas and closets neat and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
- Follow schedule for project cleaning of public areas
- Maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- Keep ash urns clean and filled with sand
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
