We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Lobby Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in preserving the cleanliness and order of all lobby and public area facilities including the lobby itself, restrooms, gym, business center, guest elevators, and employee back-of-house areas. The Lobby Attendant will be the first point of contact for many guests, ensuring that these areas are not only spotless but also welcoming and properly maintained. This position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties to guarantee that every surface, fixture, and amenity reflects the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and restocking restrooms, polishing elevators and furniture, and removing trash from all public spaces. Maintaining the integrity and aesthetic appeal of the front desk area and lobby lounge is crucial, as this sets the tone for the guest experience. The role also includes responding to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, helping guide them within the hotel premises.
The position demands physical stamina, as the successful candidate will be required to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds, and work in varying conditions, including wet or humid environments. Flexibility in working hours is essential, including the availability to work evenings and weekends to maintain continuous upkeep across all hotel public spaces.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all lobbies and public restrooms
- sweep and mop carpets and lobby entrance
- clean gym
- remove trash from trash receptacles
- empty ashtrays and urns
- polish furniture and fixtures
- vacuum and polish elevators
- keep the front of the hotel free from trash
- polish the lobby floor during night
- keep the back area of the front desk neat and clean
- perform other assigned tasks by supervisor
- keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted
- clean and maintain lights
- ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free
- remove all trash from areas
- periodically check all lobby restrooms and washrooms
- inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages
- restock all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels in the lobby washrooms
- ensure all surfaces are clean and tidy
- arrange all cushions properly on lobby sofa
- respond to guest requests and inquiries in lobby or casino area
- assist guests with questions and directions
- take care of all cleaning equipment used in lobby
- vacuum guest elevators and landings
