Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to work independently
demonstrate good communication skills
capable of managing multiple priorities
willingness to work in wet and humid conditions
physical stamina to stand and walk throughout entire shift
ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly

Job Qualifications

Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
requires constant standing and walking
requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 pounds
no prior experience required

Job Duties

Clean and maintain all lobbies and public restrooms
sweep and mop carpets and lobby entrance
clean gym
remove trash from trash receptacles
empty ashtrays and urns
polish furniture and fixtures
vacuum and polish elevators
keep the front of the hotel free from trash
polish the lobby floor during night
keep the back area of the front desk neat and clean
perform other assigned tasks by supervisor
keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted
clean and maintain lights
ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free
remove all trash from areas
periodically check all lobby restrooms and washrooms
inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages
restock all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels in the lobby washrooms
ensure all surfaces are clean and tidy
arrange all cushions properly on lobby sofa
respond to guest requests and inquiries in lobby or casino area
assist guests with questions and directions
take care of all cleaning equipment used in lobby
vacuum guest elevators and landings
