The Production Manager role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of concerts and events at Live Nation-operated venues. This position manages on-stage and backstage operations, including show settlement and all technical aspects tied to live performances. The key responsibilities revolve around coordinating between touring productions or clients and Live Nation venues, ensuring that all production needs—from technical requirements and rider specifics to staging and capacity alterations—are effectively managed and advanced prior to events.

The role demands active interface with local contractors, vendors, touring parties, clients renting venues, and venue production teams. On the day of the event, the Production Manager oversees concert or private event operations from load-in to load-out, emphasizing excellent customer service for artists and clients as well as strict adherence to schedules, sound restrictions, and budget control.

Another vital facet of the position involves handling show accounting and settlements with artists and vendors, tracking labor costs, and maintaining budgets to ensure operations remain cost-effective. The manager also coordinates approved subcontractors and third-party vendors to guarantee that events are delivered safely, efficiently, and successfully.

Additionally, this role includes assisting in onboarding and training production staff to maintain team readiness and compliance with best practices, thereby upholding the high standards synonymous with Live Nation Entertainment. The Production Manager must embody a hands-on, results-oriented attitude and be capable of navigating a fast-paced, often high-pressure, loud, and dynamic environment.

This full-time role requires flexibility regarding scheduling, including days, nights, late/long hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 75 pounds using proper techniques, bending, and enduring loud noise levels during events. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in live event or concert production, preferably within music venues or touring environments, and expertise in technical setups involving audio, lighting, video, electrical systems, and staging.

Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, along with problem-solving abilities and multitasking capabilities under pressure. Computer proficiency in Windows applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also required. Live Nation Entertainment values diversity and equal employment opportunities, embracing all qualified applicants regardless of background, and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities or other needs.
