This role is an exciting managerial opportunity that places you at the heart of managing food and beverage operations within a busy entertainment venue. The focus centers around ensuring financial performance aligns with projected budgets by controlling costs related to food, beverage, and labor. You will be tasked with developing innovative monthly and quarterly specials and events that enhance guest experiences while driving revenue. This position requires strong leadership skills as you will supervise hourly staff and supervisors, conducting evaluations and implementing development plans to ensure a motivated and capable team. Managing recruitment, training, and staff scheduling falls under your remit, alongside maintaining open communication across the department for smooth operations.

Operational excellence is essential as you uphold high service standards, maintain cleanliness, and comply with health and safety regulations. You will oversee the handling of operational supplies, alcohol service compliance, and coordination of private and special events aligned with specifications. As a key manager, you will also manage staff relations, provide ongoing training and development opportunities, supervise venue trainers, and lead alcohol awareness certification programs.

The ideal candidate will possess certifications in responsible alcohol awareness, have experience in high volume dining or club operations, and bring supervisory or operational management expertise. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. Flexibility in scheduling, physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting up to 75 pounds, and excellent communication skills for radio use are required. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years high volume experience in fine dining, restaurant, or club operations
  • 1-2 years supervisory or operational management experience
  • responsible alcohol awareness training certification or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Meet or exceed budgetary expectations on all associated line items
  • cost control on food and beverage including liquor
  • manage labor cost through proper staffing and schedule management
  • assist with developing monthly and quarterly specials and events
  • complete required paperwork in timely manner
  • assist with monthly building inventory
  • supervise hourly staff and supervisors, conduct evaluations and set goals
