Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience as House or Operations Manager or similar role
  • Proven leadership in managing large teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with venue operations and facility management
  • Ability to handle governmental and municipal relations
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage budgets and payroll
  • Experience in staff recruitment, training and development

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership with strong management and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management
  • Minimum two years experience as House or Operations Manager or comparable role
  • Experience dealing with police and public officials
  • Experience representing company in political and community matters
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with large staff, ideally security, ticket takers, and ushers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Workday or timekeeping systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance including front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third party contracting, governmental relationships, staffing, and venue setup and teardown
  • Ensure outstanding tasks are completed personally or delegated appropriately
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise part-time staff and supervisors in departments such as security, maintenance, cleaning, and usher/ticket taker
  • Develop and oversee budgets for repairs, maintenance, and venue supplies
  • Assist General Manager in preparation of annual operations budget
  • Maintain and monitor incident reports and investigate/manage pending cases including interviewing staff and attending arbitration hearings
  • Ensure optimal operation of facility equipment such as traffic and crowd control devices
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints
  • Implement and execute Live Nation policies, procedures and standards
  • Create and execute recruiting programs for seasonal event staff
  • Manage new hire onboarding and training for event staff
  • Oversee training programs and development of event staff
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable facility environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local municipalities including police, fire, rescue, and traffic departments
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and third-party vendors for safe and successful events
  • Manage and approve payroll for in-house departments
  • Prepare all required governmental reports and files
  • Ensure compliance with operating department policies and procedures
