The role of Beverage Manager for the Vinyl Room at House of Blues Las Vegas is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee all beverage operations within a dynamic, intimate, and high-energy live music venue. This position is crucial in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by managing efficient bar operations, curating appealing beverage selections, providing strong leadership to the bar staff, and maintaining strict adherence to company standards, health and safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

As the Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day bar operations during live music events and private functions, ensuring fast, accurate, and high-quality beverage service in a high-volume concert-driven atmosphere. Collaboration with production and venue teams is essential to align beverage service with show flow and guest traffic, enhancing overall event quality.

The position involves managing beverage inventory, ordering supplies, and liaising with vendors to optimize beverage offerings. You will monitor pour costs, control shrinkage and waste, conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and adjust product mixes based on sales trends and audience demographics to meet financial targets.

Leadership responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising bartenders and barbacks, conducting pre-shift meetings to communicate event details and sales goals, coaching staff on upselling techniques, efficiency, and guest engagement, while ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service and company policies.

Guest experience is a priority, and you will deliver a premium, music-driven hospitality experience consistent with the House of Blues brand values. Handling guest concerns professionally and swiftly resolving issues are essential duties. You will also drive creativity in the beverage program by implementing specialty cocktails and themed menus tied to artists and events.

Compliance and safety are critical aspects of this role. You will enforce all applicable local, state, and company alcohol regulations, ensure consistent ID checks and responsible service, and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the venue.
