The Guest Relations role within this vibrant company is crucial to maintaining the high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction that Live Nation is known for. The role involves greeting guests promptly and courteously, managing the flow of guests both in the restaurant and those waiting for tables, and ensuring the experience is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Duties include confirming guest details such as name, party size, physical description, and special needs, including accommodating children where applicable. The role requires anticipating guest needs, providing accurate wait times, leading guests to their seats, and managing marketing materials onsite.

This position also requires strong communication with other departments like kitchen staff and management to coordinate large or special event parties, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the host area is essential, as is adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The guest relations associate also assists other departments when needed, providing a cooperative team environment. Job Duties

  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner
  • Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant and those who are waiting for a table
  • Manage hospitality zone efficiently
  • Obtain guests' name, number in party, physical description, arrival times, and special needs
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs to ensure satisfaction
  • Direct guests to appropriate waiting locations
  • Estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables
  • Lead guests to tables and place menus
  • Market current and future shows, menu items, and retail with marketing literature
  • Answer guest questions about the menu, music hall, and artists
  • Manage foundation access lists, industry access, dinner reservation sheets, and passes
  • Handle concert tickets and signature sheets
  • Obtain production sheets and member/spouse lists
  • Check foundation membership card and photo ID
  • Adhere to dress code policies
  • Distribute wristbands and opera box passes
  • Thank guests and invite return visits
  • Maintain knowledge of House of Blues related art, music, and history
  • Communicate with door host, kitchen, and foundation managers
  • Notify kitchen of large party seating
  • Keep host area clean and organized
  • Maintain floor safety and cleanliness
  • Polish and clean entry door windows
  • Maintain proper supplies at host station
  • Circulate to maintain atmosphere control
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist other employees and departments as needed
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Attend pre-shift meetings conducted by manager on duty
