Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a host or guest-facing role in upscale hospitality
- familiarity with reservation systems (Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, etc.)
- strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- ability to handle guest concerns or requests diplomatically
- poised and polished appearance
- ability to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- ability to move safely in uneven terrain or confined spaces
- capability to remain active and constantly moving or sit for prolonged periods
- ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally or lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally

- comfortable handling guest concerns or requests diplomatically

Job Duties
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- manage reservations, guest waitlist, and table assignments using designated system
- maintain awareness of guest preferences, VIPs, and seating strategy
- handle, organize and manage coat check
- escort guests to tables, providing menus and informing servers of arrival
- monitor pacing of dining room and communicate with service staff to ensure smooth flow
- answer phones and assist with guest inquiries and bookings
- maintain a polished, welcoming presence at the host stand throughout service
