Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five years of progressive culinary experience
  • two years in Sous Chef capacity
  • proven ability to lead a team
  • strong management and organizational skills
  • capacity to work under pressure
  • availability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least two years in a Sous Chef role
  • proven leadership and team management skills
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • effective budget and labor cost management
  • strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • manage private parties and special events
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving
  • ensure culinary staff maintain highest standards of menu item preparation
  • run kitchen efficiently in absence of Executive Chef
  • manage culinary budget, labor, scheduling, and overtime
  • foster a cohesive and professional team environment
