Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five years of progressive culinary experience
  • minimum two years as a Sous Chef
  • ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • proficiency in budget and labor management
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least two years in a Sous Chef capacity
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • ability to work calmly under pressure
  • experience managing culinary budgets and labor costs
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of Northern Mexican cuisine preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • manage private parties and special events catering
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing and receiving processes
  • ensure culinary staff produces menu items to the highest standards
  • run the kitchen effectively in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage culinary budgets, labor costs, scheduling and overtime
  • lead and maintain a cohesive and motivated kitchen team
