The Restaurant Assistant Manager role at Circle K involves assisting the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations and supervising the team during the manager's absence. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in restaurant supervision or management preferred
ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
strong leadership and interpersonal skills
reliable transportation
basic math and cash handling abilities
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ability to train and develop team members
proficiency with inventory and sales tracking systems

Job Duties

Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
coaches and corrects team
conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads
maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties
assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion
directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with brand, company, and health department regulations
coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training
responsible for placing campaign materials upon request
ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift
completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
communicates any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
in absence of the restaurant manager, completes daily, weekly and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties
guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
completes reports on all incidents following company policy
partners with the restaurant manager to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant
