The Circle K store located at 3406 E US 70 Hwy, Durham, North Carolina is looking to hire a full-time Restaurant Shift Lead to join their team, working days and evenings to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The Restaurant Shift Lead role is a pivotal position within the store's restaurant operations, responsible for directly supervising all shift activities and team members to maintain smooth and efficient service. This position involves managing daily shift operations, ensuring that all company and brand standards are met while upholding health and safety regulations. The Shift Lead coordinates the work of team members by assigning duties, monitoring food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for both guests and employees. They lead by example in delivering fast, friendly guest service and coach their team to do the same. Operational responsibilities include managing cash and sales records, completing paperwork, and ensuring inventory control throughout the shift.
Successful candidates for this role possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to motivate and coach team members effectively. Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coaches team members to do the same
- maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties
- assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion
- directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and health department regulations
- coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
- ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
- monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift
- completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
- communicates any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
- guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
- completes reports on all incidents following our 5-minute rule policy
