Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficient in English or Spanish
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate manual dexterity for use of cutting tools and kitchen utensils for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other tasks
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures (cooler/freezer and kitchen area)
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients according to recipes and specifications
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the assigned station
- Utilize a variety of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking, to prepare dishes efficiently
- Manage ingredients, including proper storage and handling, to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes
- Address and correct any issues promptly
- Assist with ordering and receiving supplies as needed
- Report any shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Communicate effectively with the team to manage orders and address any concerns
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices and hygiene standards
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
