Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food preparation or cooking role preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic food safety knowledge
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

  • Utilize a variety of cooking techniques including grilling, sauteing, frying, and baking to prepare dishes efficiently
  • Manage ingredients including proper storage and handling to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Follow portion control guidelines
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes
  • Address and correct any issues promptly
  • Assist with ordering and receiving supplies as needed
  • Report any shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
  • Communicate effectively with the team to manage orders and address any concerns
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations including proper sanitation practices and hygiene standards
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
