The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, a Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, play a pivotal role in offering exceptional baseball entertainment and fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. J&E Baseball Concessions LLC is proud to manage the food service experience throughout the IronPigs ballpark, ensuring every fan enjoys quality, timely, and safe food options during game days. This team thrives not only on providing delicious foods but also on enhancing the overall fan experience by maintaining high standards of hospitality and efficiency.

As part of their commitment to fair and equitable employment, J&E Baseball Concessions LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds including minorities, females, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. This part-time seasonal position offers flexible scheduling aligned with the IronPigs' game season, with compensation commensurate with prior experience.
The role of Cook at the Lehigh Valley IronPigs concessions stands is central to the successful delivery of food services during game days. Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking various menu items by operating grilling and frying equipment, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of their assigned stations, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met consistently. The position demands physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods as well as the ability to lift heavy items. Cooks must be adaptable and capable of multitasking within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating both efficiency and thoroughness.
Cooks will receive cross-training, potentially working in multiple locations across the ballpark, adding variety and depth to their job skills. They work closely under the direction of the Executive Chef or Stand Manager, executing instructions to prepare kitchens for game days, stocking stations with necessary supplies, and coordinating with other staff to ensure timely food delivery. Cooks are also charged with safe operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, communication of order timings, and collaboration with service and management staff to uphold quality guest experiences.
This position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in team environments and have a passion for providing high-quality food service in a lively, customer-focused setting. Those with previous experience in food handling, grilling, and frying will find this role rewarding, with opportunities to develop skills further in the unique atmosphere of professional baseball concessions. The company provides specific staff uniforms including a ball cap and t-shirt, while associates are responsible for their own black pants and comfortable non-skid shoes. Overall, the Cook position at J&E Concessions for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs combines a love for sports, food, and teamwork into a vibrant seasonal employment opportunity.
