This position is situated within the Atrium Health Cabarrus Laundry Department and is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week with a variable schedule. The pay range offered for this position is $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, reflective of skills, experience, and qualifications. The Laundry team plays a vital role in the hospital’s operations by managing linen services efficiently and safely. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, handling linens according to strict safety standards, and ensuring accurate processing of linen data through scanning and computer systems. The professional is responsible for resolving fill rate issues for hospital facilities to guarantee uninterrupted linen supply essential to patient care and hospital hygiene. Physically, the role demands considerable walking and standing and involves activities such as stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling carts weighing up to 700 pounds. This job requires the ability to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions effectively. The incumbent must operate hand-held scanners and computers proficiently to access and interpret linen data, which is critical to managing linen inventory accurately.
