Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Able to lift/carry/push/pull items up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Capacity to push or pull linen carts weighing up to 100 lbs
- Position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or linen services is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift/carry items up to 25 lbs and push/pull linen carts up to 100 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of safety and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Transports linen carts with clean rooms to storage rooms on each floor of the property
- Replenishes linens in the linen rooms based on the number needed for each floor as indicated on linen distribution form
- Returns carts to designated areas at the end of the shift
- Cleans and organizes laundry room, supply/storage closets, linen room, and uniform room
- Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
- Interacts professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests
- Contributes to team goals
- Follows company policies and safety procedures
