The role of Housekeeping and Laundry Support at Loews Miami Beach Hotel is essential to maintaining the high standards and seamless operations of the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry departments. This position is designed to provide hands-on assistance by maintaining cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, assisting with linen inventory management, and supporting the Laundry Manager in daily operational needs. You will play a key part in ensuring that all linen supplies are properly stocked, and that all departments involved in guest room preparation have what they need to offer a pristine and comfortable environment. A key aspect of the role involves excellent guest relations, where you will be expected to interact politely and helpfully with guests, management, and team members to contribute to an outstanding guest experience. Additional responsibilities include attending departmental meetings, following safety regulations, and adhering to hotel standards related to uniform, grooming, and eco-friendly practices such as recycling. Flexibility is important, as the role requires working weekends and holidays to ensure hotel operations run smoothly without interruption. The successful candidate will be expected to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting and moving heavy loads of up to 150 pounds, and have stamina to perform tasks involving bending and prolonged standing. Job Duties

  • maintain all linen rooms clean, stocked and organized according to linen needs
  • provide laundry manager with inventory of linen rooms at 3pm daily
  • notify a manager promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • handle guest with excellent guest relation skills
  • attend all departmental meetings as scheduled
  • perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner
  • be polite, friendly, and helpful
  • promote and apply teamwork skills at all times
  • execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
  • comply with required safety regulations and procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
  • comply with hotel standards, policies and rules
  • recycle whenever possible
  • remain current with hotel information and changes
  • comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards
