The role involves working as a production employee specializing in the preparation of poultry products by cutting, deboning, and trimming chicken parts as they move along the production line. This position requires the use of knives or scissors to precisely cut up chicken while ensuring all excess fat and bones are removed according to stringent quality and safety standards. Due to the nature of the work, employees will spend extended periods standing and performing rapid, repetitive motions, sometimes lifting heavy objects weighing up to 40 lbs. The role demands physical stamina, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with consistency and attention to detail.

Additionally, the position is integral to the team environment where communication and cooperation between employees and supervisors are essential for smooth operation. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Use a knife or scissors to cut up or debone chicken as it moves down the production line
  • Check for bones and excess fat attached
  • Remove bones with a knife and pull off or trim extra fat
  • Participate as an active team member of production in assigned area
  • Perform repetitive tasks as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with food safety programs including HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required
