Job Description

Aero Center Spokane-GEG and Aero Center Felts Field are prominent Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) located at Spokane International Airport and Spokane Felts Field Airport, respectively. They provide a comprehensive range of general aviation services that cater primarily to private and business aviation clientele. Aero Centers are known for their customer-centric approach, positioning themselves as private aviation experts and offering an integrated and smart FBO experience. With a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and personalized service, these centers support the aviation community through hangar storage, aircraft parking, aircraft management, fueling services, and commercial into-plane services. The company is recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional and tailored customer experiences, reflecting its motto as an Aero Concierge™. Aero Centers are growing their portfolio to meet increasing demands within the general aviation sector, creating opportunities for dynamic individuals passionate about aviation and ground support services.

The Line Service Technician role at Aero Centers is an exciting full-time opportunity for individuals who have a passion for working with aircraft and providing excellent ground support services. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including marshaling arriving and departing aircraft, fueling and defueling operations, towing, and safely operating ground service equipment such as tugs, fuel trucks, and transport vans. The Line Service Technician serves as a vital link between the aircraft and clients, ensuring a seamless and safe experience on the ramp. The position requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including completion of the AvFuel Safety First program and compliance with Spokane International Airport's badging program.

In addition to technical duties, the role demands exceptional customer service skills to assist passengers and crew members with baggage handling, ground power servicing, and potentially shuttle services as needed. The successful candidate will also be involved in routine quality control inspections of refuelers, record keeping, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the ramp and customer areas. The work schedule requires flexibility, as shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Candidates must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety awareness.

This job offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, and on-the-job training to foster professional growth. Aero Centers also emphasize a drug-free workplace, requiring pre-employment drug testing and maintaining a safe environment for their team and customers. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced, customer-focused environment in the aviation industry and are eager to contribute to the continued success and expansion of Aero Center’s FBO services.
