The part-time Line Server position at Morrison Healthcare will be located at Inova Alexandria Hospital, situated at 4320 Seminary Road in Alexandria, Virginia. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a respected healthcare foodservice company with a commitment to community impact and team member growth. The schedule for this position is part-time, specifically covering shifts from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, ideal for individuals seeking weekend work. The pay range for Line Servers in this role is between $17.65 and $17.90 per hour. Additionally, a $750 sign-on bonus is available, paid in two installments at 90 and 180 days of employment, providing incentives for commitment and performance.
As a Line Server, you will be a frontline team member responsible for the final preparation and service of food items in the hospital foodservice area. Your role is essential in ensuring that every meal served meets company standards for quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation according to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. You will work closely with kitchen supervisors, relief managers, and team leaders to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
The role involves delivering personalized customer service, including attentive one-on-one interactions and attention to detail during the food service process. You will be involved in preparing and serving food and beverage items in compliance with HACCP and OSHA guidelines while managing portion control. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment is crucial, as is cooperating with other departments and contributing positively to the team dynamic.
