Job Description

Bon Appetit Management Company is a prominent foodservice management company known for operating over 1,000 cafes nationwide in diverse settings including corporations, universities, museums, and public restaurants. The current opening is for full-time and part-time Line Server positions located at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. This role offers varied schedules including Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with further details provided upon interview. In this role, the Line Server is responsible for the final preparation and presentation of all food items served in the designated food service area adhering strictly to federal, state, and local standards as well as Bon Appetit's policies. They will work closely with kitchen supervisors, relief managers, and team leaders to ensure quality service is consistently delivered to customers. The role requires keen attention to detail for customer service, adherence to food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP and OSHA guidelines, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position also includes responsibility for delivering food items between kitchen and service areas, working cooperatively with other department staff, and maintaining professionalism with both customers and colleagues.
