Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer/POS register skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Capacity for repetitive motions as required by restaurant tasks
- Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
- Spanish comprehension helpful but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in fast casual dining or restaurant environment
- Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests and answering menu questions
- Create and process guest orders accurately using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service line, dining area, restrooms, and equipment
- Bussing tables and dining areas especially during peak service times to ensure quick turnover
- Anticipate and exceed guest needs by engaging in proactive service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members primarily in English, with some Spanish helpful
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for entire shifts
