Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in food service preparing meals
- Ability to take directions and effectively perform quality work
- Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times
- Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform moderate physical efforts including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work flexible and rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Job Duties
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- Prepares a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items with pre-preparation of ingredients
- Cook on various kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, and grills
- Properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies including covering, dating, storing, and rotating food items
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
- Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Use food preparation tools according to manufacturer instructions
- Close the kitchen correctly and follow closing checklists for kitchen stations
- Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Ensure storage areas are tidy and products stored appropriately
- Use safe and hygienic food handling practices
- Return dirty food preparation utensils to appropriate areas
- Operate dishwashing equipment as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager or Lead Cook
