The VIP Prep Cook role is a crucial part of Live Nation Entertainment’s hospitality team, specifically responsible for preparing and cooking all food items served in the VIP lounge and box seat areas during live events. This position demands an individual who can maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere. The VIP Prep Cook will organize and prioritize food preparation, follow standardized recipes meticulously, and ensure all dishes meet portioning and garnish standards expected in a premium service environment. Coordination with other kitchen staff is vital, as is maintaining cleanliness, proper sanitation, and adherence to safety protocols throughout shifts.

This role requires attention to detail in maintaining food display and rotation, ensuring freshness and compliance with health regulations. The VIP Prep Cook will also manage the proper use and storage of food to uphold quality and safety standards and operate essential kitchen equipment such as ovens, broilers, grills, and dishwashers. Flexibility is important as the job involves performing all opening and closing kitchen duties, assisting colleagues when necessary, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. Live Nation offers this position with hourly compensation ranging from $16.60 to $20.00, depending on factors such as location and experience.
