Job Requirements

  • Must have at least one year of experience as a line cook
  • Two years of experience in a full-service barbecue restaurant required for Pitmaster
  • Ability to create great-tasting barbecue
  • Knowledge of meat cutting, seasoning, and smoking
  • Understanding of portion control and food costs
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Willingness to work day, night, and weekend shifts

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a line cook
  • Two or more years of experience in a full-service barbecue restaurant for Pitmaster
  • Knowledge of meat cutting, seasoning, and smoking techniques
  • Understanding of portion control and food cost management

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Manage and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Operate smoking and grilling equipment efficiently
  • Monitor food portion sizes and control food costs
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Maintain adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
