Take Care Brands is currently expanding its presence in Denver, Colorado, and is on the lookout for enthusiastic and talented Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join their culinary team. These roles will support the culinary experience across their diverse concepts including FiNO restaurant, All is Well Bar, and in-room dining services. Under the expert guidance of executive and sous chefs, the chosen candidates will be instrumental in crafting distinctive flavors and textures while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. This opportunity provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in menu creation with seasonal ingredient highlights, explore innovative cooking techniques, and develop a comprehensive skill set in a fast-paced, yet rewarding, kitchen environment.

In the Line Cook role, the responsibility spans food preparation, cooking, butchery, and plating of all menu items according to precise recipes, ensuring consistency and quality that meets the Chef team's high standards. The position requires memorization of menu items, recipes, ingredient origins, and the ability to adapt to daily specials. Working in a lively and high-energy environment, candidates must be comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying while maintaining safety and compliance with health regulations. The role also involves participating in pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance team communication and knowledge sharing.

For the Prep Cook position, primary duties include ingredient preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and making stocks, sauces, and dressings to ensure consistency and quality. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe, and organized prep area with proper food labeling and storage practices. Supporting the kitchen team by assisting chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers is a key component, along with adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. This role is ideal for those with basic kitchen experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in culinary arts, offering the opportunity to develop knife skills, improve efficiency, and integrate into a supportive team environment.

Both positions offer competitive hourly wages based on experience, with the Line Cook position earning between $22 and $26 per hour, and the Prep Cook role ranging from $20 to $24 per hour.   • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Food preparation, butchery, cooking, and plating all menu items to the specifications of each recipe
  • maintaining all food items are consistently stored and labelled in accordance with expectations set by the Chef team

  • memorizing and understanding all menu items, recipes, ingredient details/origins, and daily specials
  • prolonged standing, walking, lifting and carrying throughout entire shift in indoor environment
  • attending all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person in order to enhance communications and gain knowledge of ingredients and service notes
  • compliance with all health and safety laws at all times
