Line Cooks at Village Tavern are responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking various menu items, and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food service. Job Duties
- Adhere to recipes
- set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- prepare food for service in a timely manner
- cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- answer, report and follow Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager’s instructions
- maintain a clean work environment
- stock inventory appropriately
- ensure that food comes out simultaneously, of high quality and in a timely fashion
- comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- arrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to work
