Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, kneel and crouch more than 50 percent of the time
- ability to lift 40 pounds
- ability to taste all types of food and respond to visual and aural cues
- must be able to verbally communicate with employees at all times
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree from an accredited school preferred
- completion of an apprenticeship program acceptable
- minimum 2 years of experience in a high-end restaurant
- thorough knowledge of food service sanitation standards
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment use and operation
- ability to communicate effectively in English
